Consumer Reports Best Anti Aging Cream But Science Says No

41Non-profit organization Consumer Reports has recently undertaken the task of testing widely available anti aging creams. Naturally, people wanted to know what was listed as consumer reports best anti aging cream.

But to the surprise of many, Consumer Reports was gave many of the hyped up anti aging creams a thumbs down. The United States organization carried out the study in union with a similar organization in France.

The aim of the study was to determine whether people were actually getting results with the anti aging products they were buying.

The results

It turns out that even what we read in consumer reports best anti aging cream is not really true. The organization that tested several products stated that even the most expensive anti aging creams were not effective against wrinkles and similar blemishes.

What does this mean?

Unfortunately, for consumers who had already purchased expensive creams, this means it does not matter how much you paid. Price does not dictate how effective a compound is against wrinkles and aging skin.

Another interesting finding was the comparison of the results of anti aging creams bought from regular drug stores and those that were bought from luxury body shops. Again, there was no difference between the two.

Neither place of origin nor price improved the results in actual application.

One of the most expensive creams in the market today, La Prairie Cellular was found to be the most ineffective among the creams. This does not bode well for the brand, since the miniscule amount of cream is priced at $335.

Imagine paying for something this expensive only to find out that it does not really work that well.

As for the reasonably priced anti aging creams, test results showed that these only lessened the wrinkles by around 10 percent. This figure is too low to be marked as “effective”.

Consumer reports best anti aging cream now seem to be the least accurate. It does not really show which anti aging cream is effective and which is simply hype.

Claims versus performance

Another disturbing piece of news from the organization Consumer Reports is that very often, the claims of companies is contrary to actual results. Consumer reports best anti aging cream fails again, since often, these so called consumer reports support the claims of companies.

Another important result was that the general effectiveness of the different products varied from one individual to another. This means that creams themselves are looking for ideal skin types.
